Financing an Adoption

Another blogger who has recently adopted from Alex's home country put up an itemized list of costs.  They are VERY similar to our prospective costs (some details are a little different because states charge certain items like apostilles differently).  Our home study cost a bit more than their home study, but we didn't have to do online coursework, and we hope our plane tickets will be cheaper if we travel in the winter. We also hope to complete the process in three weeks total, rather than a month, but nothing is guaranteed in that regard.
