- he is speaking in simple sentences to us (which sometimes we understand and often we don't)
- he speaks three English words (OK, sit, maybe balloon)
- he has pointed to and named Maria and Julia in the family book, saying their names
- he has called us Mama and Papa (although he prefers Dahduh for Jerry)
- he is making more eye contact
- he is sitting and concentrating more (he really looked at two books today, like he understood now what a book is for)
- he wants to do more things himself (esp eat the kasha!)
- he smiles excitedly when he sees us
- he smiles and laughs at our interactions, esp. playful ones
- he does not like us leaving
- he is strong and shows that to us in all kinds of ways
- he is a bright eyed little boy
Court is tomorrow. We'll update when we can--it may not be immediately. Please pray for us.
Peace, Susan
